Easy Rider in Petaluma is the subject of this repeat podcast episode, as The Brew Crew is taking a break this first week of August and there is no new show today. This repeat show from Nov. 4, 2021 is in two parts. This part focusses exclusively on Dustin Sullivan’s news about his plans to open a new restaurant in Petaluma called Easy Rider. Erin Hinze, Mike Barber and Dustin Sullivan all join Harry Duke and Herlinda Heras on Brew Ha Ha. Erin is the founder of Bitter Girl Bitters. Mike Barber is a partner in Barber Lee Spirits distillery in Petaluma. Dustin Sullivan is here to announce his second restaurant to open soon in Petaluma. He also owns and operates Guesthouse in Larkspur, which the website describes as, “…local ingredients / wood fired favorites with west coast charm.”
Today (as this show is recorded on Nov. 4, 2021) Dustin Sullivan announces his plans to open a new restaurant called Easy Rider, in Petaluma, right near Barber Lee Spirits. He is a Californian and his partner and chef is from Virginia and knows Southern cooking. They plan to combine the best of Sonoma County farm production with Southern style recipes. For example, their Caprese salad us made with fried green tomatoes.
Guesthouse is a restaurant that Dustin opened in Larkspur, in 2018. It is the restaurant he always wanted to open and he knows about restaurants, since his parents are both in the business and he has grown up around restaurants and has always worked in them.
