Jessi Brandt
Herlinda reports on the Livelong Women’s Health Summit with Michael Stusser from Osmosis Day Spa Sanctuary and Jessi Brandt, founder of Elevate Wellness Solutions. At first, Herlinda has good news, she has passed her national board certification as a Health and Wellness Coach. Congratulations, Herlinda!
They all attended the Livelong Women’s Health Summit in San Francisco on April 17 & 18, 2026. Jane Fonda was the keynote speaker. There was an impressive roster of expert speakers and panels. At the age of 88, she showed great agility and strength, showing some of her morning exercise routine.
Asked what’s happening now at Osmosis, Michael says that everything is in bloom right now. “We’re totally thriving out there. It’s the peak of the season for Spring bloom.” They are clearing the pathways and putting the steps back down to the creek, which they remove for the Winter, so they don’t wash away.
Elevate Wellness Solutions

Congratulations, Herlinda!
Jessi has been a producer of big health events. At the end of last year, she started her new company, Elevate Wellness Solutions, to help wellness organizations to have meaningful conferences and events. In addition to that, she also has Elevate Wellness Radiance, with services for peri-menopausal and menopausal women. Jessi describes her own morning routine which includes an early walk with the dog, weight-bearing exercise and some protein for breakfast.
At the Livelong Women’s Health Summit, there was a human longevity panel that presented applications for people to test themselves to assess risk well in advance of the eventual emergence of symptoms. They sold out of their core Dna tests that they had there that day. There were two spas at the conference, Canyon Ranch, where they were doing grip testing, and Osmosis. The main speakers, however, were about the science and the frontiers of research.
Rewirement
Asked if there is a sea change, if there is something happening that is bigger and different than before, Michael replies yes, especially in terms of broader diffusion to more and more people. And it is coming back to the same things we have known all our lives. Our bodies need exercise, to get good oxygen to the brain. Sleep is so important. Michael calls his process “Rewirement” which is a term he borrowed from Chip Conley of MEA. He says it is natural that most people start to become more reflective and think about what matters most. “You never retire from your vision.” Rewirement is when you pause, step back and decide how you want to live. It is a different assessment than others in life. He turns 80 next month and yet Herlinda says he was the stronger walker on the hills in San Francisco.
Jessi points out that we are all caught between fight and flight, especially now. Wellness starts with community and there were speakers about, for example, how to talk to strangers. The conference was an opportunity to reach out to women and also to hear their voices. The research is finally moving into Women’s Health. There was a conference where a speaker mentioned, “Women are not small men.” Medical research will be required to study women and men now.
Dr. Vonda Wright was at the conference. She is a marathon runner and will run to support funding for women’s health research. The Healthspan is a concept of the length of a healthy life, not life merely prolonged by modern medical practice.
Once a year Michael gives an extended tour of their meditation garden. The next two are on May 7 and 19. In addition, they have two day-long retreats coming up, one on Chi Gong and another on Forest Bathing. “Talk about a neurological downshift, in nature, with a multi-sensory pathway to really chilling out majorly. This is the real deal,” says Michael. Get all the info about all-day retreats at this page on the Osmosis website.
